VOYAGE OF THE HARMONY
Science Fiction Novel
Amber Lewis, resident of the northern side of the planet Janus, boards the Harmony of the Skies for a trip to celebrate her marriage to renowned scientist Caroline Lewis. The cruise through their solar system, designed to mimic the ancient cruise liners of Earth, seems like an idyllic vacation until the couple finds themselves pulled into an ongoing labor dispute between the ship’s workers, all of whom are orange-eared residents of southern Janus, and the Captain. The conflict tests Amber’s nascent marriage as Caroline attempts to aid the protesting crew members, inflaming old wounds as she does so. The stakes are raised when an accident puts the lives of the passengers and the crew at risk. Amber navigates race, class, and heartache, doing what she believes she must in order to survive.

As their young son is taken from them due to their inability to keep up, they struggle with the emotional and existential challenges of living in a world where time itself has become a tool of oppression.
Through its heart-wrenching narrative, The Passing Fracture offers a powerful commentary on the growing divides in modern society and the ways in which the powerful often marginalize those deemed less valuable. The Webers’ story highlights the emotional toll of these divides, as they grapple with the loss of their son, the erosion of their relationship, and the constant struggle to maintain their humanity in a world that increasingly views them as obsolete.
